I was actually looking for mechanics on how to send contributions for Philstar’s My Favorite Movie section.
Instead, what I found was my entry for last year’s Philippine Star’s My Favorite Book Contest, “Becoming a Mother“, with my name on the byline.
I swear for a moment I had that jumping instinct, had I not remembered that I am already 1 cm dilated. Haha.

‘Twas an unexpected win, as I sent this entry December 31 last year, 12 minutes before the My Favorite Book Contest for 2011 officially closed. It was an entry haphazardly done in hopes of catching up with the roster of the final winners for last year, and well, the grand winners have already been announced March 12, and obviously my name wasn’t on the list.
A promising start to 2012 🙂 *Crossing her fingers she makes it this year.*
