I know, I know. There’s is a noticeably growing trend of mommy blog entries in here that you’re probably wondering, Is she turning this into a mommy blog? Nope, I’m not. But mommyhood is one of  my many journeys, and Filipina Explorery is about my journeys in the Philippines and other explorations, so you get the gist.

And just when you think that annoying mom side of me is over talking, I present to you, snapshots from my late noon walks with Lia.

Usual sight around the neighborhood: Grazing cows
Snails racing
Much as my itching feet would like to wander off somewhere far away from here, being a full-time mom to a demanding four month-old and ten house pets/ homebased writer from M-F/ wife to a husband who also has responsiblities during office hours, it’s mind-boggling how travel can fit in the schedule.

Peace sign?
Snails are the second most common animals to see ’round here,
 after frogs and dogs.
This one’s about the size of 1 1/2 cigarettes.

So I take solace in these walks around the neighborhood for  exercise new experiences and discoveries. They do me well enough. Maybe till Lia time cooperates with us for travel.
