Hi, Lia.

I found this little girl playing on a hill in Magome the other day. She reminded me of you.

Being here feels ambivalent. I have dreamed of reaching this destination, and snow, that dream has come to life. Yet it feels like my heart is not quite in the right place, because half of it has remained at home – with you.

I am making the most of this work trip though, for that is what is right and necessary to do. Sometimes the heart needs to hurt a bit for its dreams.

I miss you and I can’t wait to be home.

Just one more day!

With you across the miles,
Mama
