In a world where piso fares and seat sales rule – along with budget airline horror stories – it’s a breath of fresh air when luxury airlines with best in-flight comfort offer flights that even the average Juan can afford.

I’m talking Singapore Airlines’s mid-year travel fair, lasses and gents, where you can book tickets to international destinations aboard their newly launched and roomy Airbus A350-900 for as low as $180 roundtrip (or just around P4,000 one-way), all-in (excluding Philippine travel tax). The sale starts today, July 8, till July 31.

And the best part is you can book your travel anywhere between July 13, 2016 to March 31, 2017. So, you get to book best rates now while they’re cheap and still have time to save for other trip logistics. #TravelMoves

As Singapore Airlines tradition goes, booking passengers within the sale period get to enjoy luxurious in-flight perks including being able to choose your meals prior to boarding, and the Companion App, a nifty mobile application that lets passengers customize in-flight entertainment options. The app is unique to the Airbus A350-900.

How much are the fares?

Who can avail the rates?

The promotional rates are available to both KrisFlyer members and Mastercard holders. If you aren’t a KrisFlyer member yet, simply sign up for free on www.krisflyer.com to get the exclusive rates.

Now, if you’re a Mastercard holder, apart from enjoying the promo sale rates, you also get a chance to win the Priceless Package, which includes a pair of business class tickets to trip to Singapore Airline’s newly launched destinations: Dusseldorf, Germany and Cape Town, South Africa!

Tickets aside, you also get to snooze in a luxury hotel, go on a sponsored tour, and even have your own photographer to document your trip (because, ya know, travel selfies are important).

How does the raffle go?

Entries are earned when you buy a ticket using your Mastercard. One economy class ticket earns you one raffle entry. A premium class ticket earns you five entries, and a business class ticket earns you 10 raffle entries.

Can’t book online? You can still bag special discounted fares.

If in any case you’re at the SMX Convention Center now till July 10, you can also catch the Singapore Airlines booth there. They offer the same book-and-buy rates.
