When planning your trip
to Paris, it is easy to get lost in the variety of cozy
restaurants and places.

In the summer, the
terrace is a great place to relax from the heat, drink a refreshing
cocktail, sunbathe during lunch, or to meet friends for wine and cheese. During winter, restaurant terraces are perfect for enjoying a warm hot coffee and tarts with berries.

Here is a mini-selection of some wonderful Paris
terraces and best restaurants in Paris by the
best European dating site J4L.com –  each with its own
charm – that are worth visiting.
  1. Le Petit
    Gaston
Boasting old American style design, this cafe is known for its coziness in every
detail: leather sofas and chairs with fabric upholstery, wooden
massive tables and small light tables on the terrace, lovely waiters, as well as Happy Hour specials. But above all, the view is stunning. The bar is located on Place de la Contrescarpe, in the very
middle of Rue Mouffetard.

Musicians come here
to add a special touch of romance. After dining, walk to the Sorbonne and the Pantheon, both a 10-minute walk away. You can also go down to the Seine
embankment and admire Notre-Dame de Paris in the rays of the setting
sun and in the best company ever.
  1. Salon de thé
de la Grande Mosquée de Paris

As soon as you come
into this salon, it seems that teleportation is real: you are suddenly in Morocco or Tunisia.
Decorated like a Middle Eastern palace, the salon
is located next to the Paris cathedral mosque (Grande Mosquée de
Paris), a destination that’s also worth visiting. On the terrace, you can
drink real Moroccan tea with mint and sugar. Forget about
dieting and try traditional Moroccan, Algerian and Tunisian sweets with
honey, nuts and almond paste. Don’t forget to also try fragrant tagin and
couscous.
  1. Chez Janou

One of the
best restaurants in Paris, Chez Janou is located next to the Place des
Vosges, in the heart of the Marais. The food is so delicious that
every dish makes taste buds tingle. Service is perfect and desserts, worth
trying. The interiors are cozy and feel like the south of France. You also get free olive refills, should you crave more. Of
course, it would be better to book a table in advance, or you can come
earlier for an aperitif.
  1. La terrasse
    du Sinople

This Paris cafe is
completely different from typical cafes in Paris. It is large and
spacious with  minimalist, industrial design and an ambiance that mimics the real tropics. Sinople (now renamed as “Klay Saint Sauveur”) offers beautifully plated vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. The
beverage collection is equally impressive: besides classic red and
white wines from different regions of France and alcoholic cocktails,
there are delicious smoothies from fresh vegetables and fruits and
even protein shakes.
Lovers of healthy and fresh food will definitely love it here.
  1. Bar de
    l’Hôtel de l’Abbaye

Five minutes from the
Luxembourg Garden, you will find a luxurious green terrace with a nice
murmur fountain, hidden well from the bustling city. An ideal place
to relax after a long day of walking around Paris, time moves slowly at
Bar de l’Hôtel de l’Abbaye. Each corner and
part of the decor is well-thought of down to the smallest detail.
